Welcome to Cabinet Makeover’s blog.  We are excited you have taken time to get to know us.  With this blog, I hope to introduce you to the heart and soul of CM.  It is our desire that the blogs that will be written will help you in your renovations, whether you use Cabinet Makeovers or not.  They will be informational and will come from decades of experience in Cabinet making and designing.

Who is CM.  First and foremost, CM is a Christ centered company.  To look like Jesus should be the quest and desire of all who call upon His name.  I’ve never observed Jesus looking for profit when He helped people.  He was a Servant Leader.  His reward was helping those He had contact with.

For more than 45 years, this has been the foundation of CM.  When we enter a home, it is our mission to help those we have contact with.  Our purpose is to serve, guide, inform, and bless.  Our initial consultation is free.  If we are honored with the blessing of becoming the artisans for your project, that is icing on the cake.

Biblical Principals in business work.  Even if I were not a Christian, I would still operate Cabinet Makeovers under the principals set forth in Scripture.  Treating others as you would desire to be treated is the bedrock of human decency.  Treating people equally, no matter what their zip code, is just and honest and is a good business practice.  Doing what you say, when you say, how you say, and in the time frame you say is a great business practice to embrace.  Communication is a priority.  All these principals come straight from the Bible.  They are the principals CM strives to accomplish.

By writing these words, I am painting a bullseye on CM.  How can anyone attain such a lofty goal?  We also have confidence in human wisdom, and we know that people understand that perfection is a higher goal than any can achieve, but it should never deter us from striving for the higher calling.  Until Jesus returns, nothing will be fully right, but until that day, we shall do our best to be what He calls us to be.
